i am starting from complete scratch and need a bit of help im looking for a marraige of



freeda and edward hitch they were married around 1925-1928 [1928 was when my nan was born there 1st child she was born in tid st gibbs]

This is possibly a mistranscription



Your best bet would be your Nan's birth certificate, what is her name? have you already got this?

This will give you both her parent's full name's and the registration district.

yes i have seen nan's birth certificate it says mum is freeda hitch and dad edward hitch and it says she was born in tid st giles but not to sure about the spelling of that as i wrote it down as she read it out to me not even too sure where it is but she lives in peterborough now and i know that she has never moved too far



p.s nans name on certificate is edna pearl hitch

automatically so if you though you were going mad your not we all share the computer



so i was trying to say that i think sheffeild is too far out i have tried to google where tid si gibs is but with no luck gonna go back and try different spellings
