Thread: census lookup please. Scotland

Hi. Im looking for Clementina Harris 1871/1881 .. She was born in Cupar Fife 1824. Her husband was a seaman and they are probably in Dundee.

Also looking for JAmes Ireland b 1848 at Cupar, Robert Morrison [in 1861] b 1849 Cupar and Willaim Foraker [1861] b 1850 Cupar.

Thomas Ireland b Cupar 1822. I would be very grateful.

There are no Foraker's in the 1861 census unless the name has been mispelt or mistranscribed.





There are a few Robert Morrison's born around the right time. Have you got his father's name to help narrow it down?

Hi starlight. perhaps Faraker is Farquar? I dont know their fathers names. I dont think their mother knew the fathers names [ 3 children in 3 years, all with different surnames. The mother was Jean ireland.b 1831 at cupar. Grandfather was James ireland.b1796 -1871. They are all with the grandfather in 1851 at Cupar. There are no birth certificates. Thanks for your help.
