    Hi Brenda
    From the 1901 census:
SISTER, George Head Married M 37 1864 Leather Tanyard Labourer Shadwell Yorkshire
SISTER, Julia E Wife Married F 36 1865 Forrest Dean Gloucestershire
SISTER, George R Son Single M 14 1887 Hunslet Yorkshire
SISTER, Annie Daughter Single F 11 1890 Hunslet Yorkshire
SISTER, Arthur Son M 7 1894 Hunslet Yorkshire
SISTER, Emily Daughter F 2 1899 Hunslet Yorkshire
HOLDER, Harry Nephew M 11 1890 Hunslet Yorkshire
    Piece:4193 Folio: 30 Page: 1
    7, Telford Terrace, Hunslet

But the name Sister has been mis-transcribed, as in 1911 it becomes Lister
LISTER, George Head Married M 47 1864 Boot Repairer Yorkshire Shadwell
LISTER, Julia Emma Wife Married 25 years F 46 1865 Gloster Crimsleford
LISTER, Aruther Son Single M 17 1894 Miner Hurrier Yorkshire Hunslet
LISTER, Rowland Son M 6 1905 At School Yorkshire Hunslet
    Address: 16 Midland Avenue Hunslet

There is a marriage which would suggest that Harry was a nephew.
    Marriages Sep 1885
Holder Julia Emma Hunslet 9b 369 (Sister of Sarah??)
    LISTER George Hunslet 9b 369

I can not find a record on the CWGC that fits. (I expected to find details of a widow.) Nor can I find a service record.

    Harry's mothers death.
    Deaths Dec 1895
    Holder Sarah Ann 27 Hunslet 9b 190

In the 1881 census, Piece: 4488 Folio: 32 Page: 25 Julia E and Sarah A, living with siblings and parents Joseph & Sarah.

Well what info do you have?
I don;t want to bother you with stuff you've already got.
Obviously he was in South Africa for a bit as he married there 1/3/1912 , Address there was 145,First Ave. Greyville Durban. The eldest child Phyllis was born in Umtali Rhodesia(now called something else) 26/12/1912. Second child, Esme born1914 Durban and Frank born 1915 Durban,
He was a private in 2nd batt, D. Of Wellington's West Riding Regiment.

Then he signed on for short service in 1916 and there is a Private HM Holder aged 27,who arrives in Uk on troopship Kaiser-I-Hind that came from gibraltar into Plymouth arrivingJune 23 1917.
I guess then he was sent out to france.
    He died18 July 1918.
His grave no is E10 at the LE Vertannoy(maybe Vertanncy?) British Cemetery at HINGES.
