I have found two births for 1934 both give Mothers maiden name..
Births March quarter of 1934
Green Joan P.. Mothers maiden surname Sheffield Leeds South 9b 940
Births September quarter 1934
Green Joan P Mothers maiden surname is Kerr Fulham 1 a 326

" am looking for my mums birth mother namely ethel violet green. we know she came to manchester in 1934 and gave birth to my mum and named her joan pendlebury green but we have been unable to find where she was from or where she went to after she had my mum. although my mum died 20 yrs ago its also part of our heritage and we now have a big blank and so if anyboday has ANY info about ethel violet green please, please, please could you let us know!!!"

GREEN Ethel V Aston Warwickshire 1915 Jan-Feb-Mar
GREEN Ethel V Tynemouth Northumberland 1915 Jan-Feb-Mar
They would all suit birth wise. Do you have any idea where she came from?
Who looked after your mother when her mother left, aunts, uncles, grandparents etc

thanks but no place of birth or dob for ethel violet....which as you can imagine is not making it any easier for us!!!
was your mum adopted - in which case she should be able to access her social services file and find out some more info ---- oh as she is deceased i am not sure you can do it as next of kin or not.
if she wasnt adopted who brought her up - where did she live etc
have you any more info on ethel violet at all- any idea of how old she was when she had your mum or anything , no matter how small you know about her or of things surrounding your mums birth etc etc
