I am looking for my grandmother ethel daisy archer.She is suppose to have been at the lambeth poor union.I believe between the years 1891-1901.If anyone has seen her name I would be very grateful as I am having no luck.
I have contacted even the LondonMet.Archives.

It would appear she sailed to Canada from Liverpool on the "SS New England" in 1902. You'll find her here, scroll to bottom of page to find, 'Dr. Barnardo's Girls Village Home, Barkingside, Ilford, Essex Lambeth Union'

I'm wondering if this is your grandmother's baptism. Unfortunately there's a problem opening the original record but the index says................

Daisy Ethel Archer, born abt 1890, baptised 24 Mar 1890 @ St Pancras, mother Louisa, no father named.

And if that is she, how about this 1891 census?

Carol, I'm guessing you have details of Ethel Daisy's marriage to Wm Walter Whitefield, 30th Dec 1908, Ontario, where both parties state they...... Do Not Know Name of Father Or Mother An Emigrant?

The record on above link has a birth date .................. Archer, Ethel age 11 A....s?, Ethel 26,1,89

This may be her birth record which fits with DOB, however there's no middle name of Daisy, but often middle names were added at baptism.

Ethel Archer, Jan-Mar qrt 1889, Wandsworth, Greater London, Surrey. Vol 1d, page 6573.

Thank you for all the info.I have all that you found.I believe she is the one at st pancras.what I am trying to find is when she left James &Mary's Pritchard's and went to Lambeth Poor Union.There is 10 year span.I believe I found her being born in Holloway.London.Also trying to find this Louisa Archer and where she would have given birth ex. hospital or such.Any help would certainly be appreciated.You also said opening the original birth record was a problem what did you mean?

I am trying to find my grandmother ethel daisy archer between the years 1891 and 1901.She is listed with a James & Mary Pritchard-1891 census as a nursechild and at Barnardo's in 1901.I believe she was at Lambeth but when she
went their I can't find.I need help.
