Thread: Johnson in Derby

Hi All
First of all a happy new year to one and all, During my quick visit to the UK I met with a cousin I had not seen for 60 years, We have the same grandmother, My mother had tow step siblings Winifred Hunt 1919 ? and William Hunt1921? born in Derby Mother Lucy Hunt. They were both brought up by their Grandmother, the surname of Johnson and lived in Shaftsbury St, or Cresent, Derby,
My question is, between 1920 -1940 the Jonhsons lived there, but being as no census has been released yet How can I find the names of these people , will they be on the electoral roll for those years and how do I access it , its a bit of a sticking point at the moment, can anyone suggest anything please

1920-1940 electoral registers... Home | Derby City Council has lots of research links to their libraries etc. Try there.
I have not yet found a place with free electoral roll look ups.
