Default Where was Marianne Elizabeth Godwin? And why can't I find her brother's birth?

This family has me going round in circles, I have found Marianne Elizabeth Godwin's baptism in 1857 but then she disapears and in 1881 she is on Census with her father and sister, she is described as a governess, I have found her death in 1887 aged 30 years, but where was she between 1857 and 1881? Not with the family . I 1881 there is a brother Charles who I think is Charles Jack Theodore Godwin born 1863, I found his marriage and his death but can't find a birth or Baptism for him. Marianne and Charles were born Bloomsbury St.George, parents were William and Julie Elisabeth Eugenie. If anyone can throw any light on these two I'd be so grateful

    Chrissa,
Sorry not found what you want yet.
Marianne was born 25 Jan 1856 but baptised 29 March 1857 along with brother Theodore who was born June1st 1854.
Did you see William, a wid, on the 1851 in Cavendish Square? with Eliza Fonguet? ? born France aged 22.she is down as step-daughter ? Julie Elisabeth Eugenie was also born in France? Is Eliza alias Julie Elisabeth Eugenie?
I see them on 1881 and see the death and probate for Marianne . Do you have a death cert for Marianne?

Then 1861 William is with wife Julie and children Theodor 6 and Harriet 2 but no Marianne who would be 5 so where was she? Ill/hospital/ staying with French grandmother or with William's mother.

Hi Lola and Noggin - many thanks for your help, I have everything now on Marianne and her brother and think I may have found a connection between Marianne and the Mary Ann Smith she is with in 1851. Looking for her parents William and Julie in 1841 hoping to tie the ends nicely... Very grateful for solving the little mystery of Marianne's whereabouts in 1851, been a headache for some days...

    Hi Chrissa.
I'm pleased that you have found Charles as I had no luck with him! I'm sure there must be a connection between the Smith family and Marianne.
You meant 1861 census not 1851(she wasn't born then)
I don't think you will find Julie in 1841. There were some Fonguet/Fouguet s who came in from Belgium on the alien list in 1844-1846 but I cannot see a Julie there.
William was married before so may be with wife and child/children in 1841. I wonder if he was always a florist or changed his occupation before 1851?
Do you have the marriage cert for William and Julie as it might be worth getting it? You may find her name was Fouquet. (In handwriting the u and q can easily be mistaken forn and g. On the LDS site there are many Fouquets with name combinations similar to Julie's. Some from Paris and others from other areas in France. I didn't find Julie E E but I gave up after a while.
