Default What is her maiden name?

Henry William Rumsey married in Mar 1861 in Medway, Kent. Is he the right ancestor? Wife should be Ellen......... Would also like her maiden name please. I have them in Macclesfield on the 1881 England census, where he is listed as a pensioner, retired. I am sure the census one is correct as the other family names tie up with my info.
    Any help greatly appreciated.
Also, who was Henry William's father? So many Rumsey's with the same name.

    Hi3sillydogs.
Her Maiden name is Stokes. She is born Gillingham Kent.
They are in macclesfield in 1891 and he is soldier pensioner born Middlesex. St Marylebone and on earlier census his birthplace is given as St. Marylebone. so probably correct. I will have a look and see what I can find. Maybe Chelsea pensioner records.

    Thanks Lola,
That's the one I was looking for.
Birth place ties up with info I have, and tallies with the 1881 census, where he is also given as retired pensioner. I had assumed he was a soldier as the family tradition seems to have been a military one. My gr. grandfather served as did his sister Elizabeth. There seems to be a large gap in ages between Elizabeth and the next sibling. Could Henry have been serving outside the country?

Thanks noggin for the baptism info - gets confusing with all the same names, and variations of them. Enough to make you dizzy!!
