london maybe holborn or hackney
Do you think this could be her Ada Elizabeth Woodhouse Sep qr 1904 Bethnal Green 1c 197. I also found ones for 1882, 1910 & 1911. But this year seemed about right. If you feel it may be her you could senf for a birth cert. Do you have any relatives who may know something though before you buy a cert that may prove wrong?

ryanjuie48's other thread here .......... http://www.ancestryaid.co.uk/boards/...ie-e-kemp.html suggests Ada Woodhouse had three children to a Mr Hammond (Violet, Nellie(y) and Ivy). We could do with finding their births as they may help us establish when Ada was likely to have been born.

OK, I've found the Hammond girls births. All have MMN Woodhouse. The records suggest Ada moved from the Midlands to London between 1916 - 1920, therefore maybe she wasn't born in London.
Ivy, Lichfield Staff's Sept qrt 1913, 6b/929
Violet, Walsall, Mar qrt 1916, 6b/1267
Nellie, Holborn, Sept qrt 1920, 1b/1146.

I cannot find a Hammond/Woodhouse marriage. If you purchase one of the girls birth certificates it should give you the father's full name, occupation and address.
I have moved your thread from the 'Introduce Yourself Forum' to 'Request Help With Your Family Research' where hopefully it will receive more interest.
The 'Introduce Yourself Forum' is for new members to introduce themselves to our members. Please feel free to post an introduction and say hi to everyone, telling us a little about yourself such as how long you've been researching etc.
