Thread: Tips on searching 1806 & before please?

Have you looked on Familysearch.org? Also parish records held in the county archives? Do you have any more specific location details, to narrow down the search.

Thanks for that. I tried familysearch.org but I didn't have any luck, having said that though sometimes you can re look at a search and come up with a better result. The George Burgess I'm after I don't have a great deal of information on in his early years. The only census he appears on is the 1841, see below. After that he is deceased and I think he died in 1846, thats the only match I have so far.
