Looking for information for Albert Edward Babb born 1901 - known family
Father Samuel born 1863
Mother Annie born 1865
Winifred sister born 1893
Mabel sister born 1895
Percy brother born 1904
lived at 7 Adelaide cottages east storehouse Plymouth Devon

Albert departed London 19th July 1924
arrived Melbourne Australia 19th August 1924

He married in 1933 Mary Edith Williams (nee Mogford)

by 1941 he was knows as Albert John Deacon-Daly and married Lilian Winifred Taylor Welch in 1942

anyone knowing any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
I would especially like to find info about mabel winifred and percy and whether they had any children or if any moved to Australia

Hallo jen028,
A quick glance shows a Mabel Mary D Babb born 4th Nov 1894 dies in Plymouth aged 90 in April 1985, GRO no 21, page 1586 so it seems she remained unmarried if that is yours.
Winifred E(Emma) Babb married a Leslie C Davies in East Stonehouse Plymouth Ap/May/Jun 1917. Will look for army records for him to find further info.
Samuel was born at launceston Cornwall and was in the navy(Royal Marines) and Annie was born in St. Neot which is not far from Launceston.

yes I too couldn't find any marriage info for Mabel lived a long life alone though. Was thinking maybe she was a nun but couldn't find anything there either. Its the more current stuff that seems harder to find - whether percy and winifred ever had any children etc

I can find no children born after 1930 in the UK to Babb & Sherwill marriage. Unfortunately there are eight births from 1917, to 1935 with Davies father, mother Babb. geographicaly they range from 3 in Stoke on Trent, 2 in East Stonehouse Devon, and 3 in Wigan. Going back to post no 2 from Lola, East Stonehouse was the place of their marriage. As these births were in 1920 and 1924, I will pm the details.

Just an update on what has been happening via pm. Details of two daughter of Winifred and Leslie Davies who married in 1917 have been found. Then details of the marriage of one grand daughter and her contact details have been passed to Jen - the original poster. It is hoped that by early next week contact should be made by email.
