Default assistance with a marraige please

I am looking for the birth of a Samuel Hunt born about 1857, do not know where,
he married a Mary Rowley in Derby 1885, I think he died around1988/9,
Do not know where I can only assume it was around the Derby area,
His fathers name is given on the certificate as Thomas Hunt proffession labourer
The address for both of them is Cecil Sr. Derby at the time of marraige
    Wishfull thinking

    George

George there are two births one in 1856 June qr for a Samuel Henry Hunt. You do not say whether he had a middle name . The other was March qr 1857 for a Samuel Hunt Basford 7b 111, Basford is part of Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. I do not know though if this is your man. It was found on FreeBMD. Following on from this I have found another Samuel Hunt 1857 sep qr East Retford Notts 7b 14

Thank you Pejay, His 2nd, son was called Samuel Henry, But I only have what was on the certificate,
I think he died around 1888 as his wife remarried a John Overton soon after this date, She is shown on the 1901 census and her 2 sons John and Samuel henry are living next door, Sorry I cannot give you any more details, but thank you very much.

    Kind Regards

    Good morning Slizzy
Samuel Hunt birth is shaown as 1857m his employment was given as a bricklayers labourer.
Samuel hunt and Mary Rowley had 2 children the first a John Hunt 1885, then my Grandfather Samuel Henry Hunt, born at 9 Parcel Terrace, Derby,
There was another family of Hunts at 34 Parcel Terrace at the same time, maybe they were related,?

It would be easier if it wasn't Thomas, George,!
I have gone almost all through the 1861 for possibles and can't seem to find a Thomas with a Samuel that fits except a Thomas with wife Fanny in Derby St Alkmund(reg dist) and that Samuel is 7 when he needs to be 4! Thomas is a blacksmith(not a lab) and was born in what looks like humpty Dumty?Derbyshire.
I will leave you in the more capable hands of slizzy and Welsh lady

Thank you lola I saw this also, the place is Hungry Bently near Ashbourne, This looks the most likely as you know they round ages off to 5 or 10, and the Hunts lived in and around the same area of Derby, Will see what Slizzy and Welshlady come up with,
    Kind Regards
    George
