Thread: Richard Coomber

I am really stuck on Richard Coomber Richard was born in 1806 Boarshead Sussex in 1826 he married Judith Hodd in Tonbridge kent and moved to Penshurst in Kent he was there with his wife and family until 1881 when he went to Speldhurst, but he was back in Penshurst in 1895 wher he died, But no matter where I have looked I cannot find his parents its driving me nuts, please help if you can I would be most grateful as would my hubby who has to listen to me shouting at the computer, .

Have you tried looking under Rotherfield, Sussex. In all the census apart from the 1881 census his birth place is Rotherfield.
