NANTWICH PARISH RECORDS IN MARCH 1863 AND MARCH 1866 and FEBRUARY 1855

I have a Randle Farmer born Nantwich and on the CPR site it says it was a multiple birth in 1866 and Daniel died in 1866
I thought Randle was born in 1863 can anyone help sort the problem
ALSO WAS THE BIRTH IN 1855 OF Eliza and William a twin birth or was it just they were christened together.

Certainly on the freeBMD site a Randle Farmer was registered in March qr 1863 Nantwich 8a 318. I can find a death for a Daniel Farmer March qr 1866 Nantwich 8a 278. they do not however appear to be connected. If you sent for Daniel's birh cert it would tell you who the parents were.

Searching for Twizell, Brown & Storey from Northumberland. Kelly & Kinsella from Ireland, Parkinson from Lincolnshire. Mellor from Derbyshire and Jackson from Warwickshire.
On FreeBMD, Elizabeth is born in 1854 Qtr 3 Natwich 8a Page 282, while William is born 1855 Qtr 2 8a Page 327. they could have just been baptised together?
Do you have any census references for the parents, as I can find a Robert & Elizabeth in Nantwich, where he is a groom , Head Groom, but no son called William . Census show they had 7 children, all of whom survived.

Robert Farmer and Elizabeth nee Joynson lived in Wall Lane and he was a Cordwainer or shoemaker.
Robert the groom I think will be their eldest son. There was also a William father of Robert in Wall Lane
There is a baptism for Daniel farmer , Nantwich Cheshire,24 Feb 1866 parents Robert farmer and Elizabeth.

All are born Nantwich Cheshire
So you can see that Eliza and William are born 5 years apart.
It was quite usual to have children in a family baptised at the same time regardless of age.
That Eliza was 8 months in the 1851 census.
She grew up and married John Jones.
On the 1871 census you will find Randle who was born in 1863 and died in 1938.

By 1871 Elizabeth was a widow

And next door lived John Farmer 46 cordwainer with wife Amy and family. This John was surely a relative of Robert(maybe younger brother?)

Randle & Richard were baptised 23/12/1866 Randle was aged 4 and Richard 7
I think you will find that 'mutiple / twin x 2 ' indicates 2 children from the same family baptised on the same date.
If in doubt suggest you obtain a cpy of the original parish record entry from Chester RO

not sure if you have these:
there is also another brother william baptised 01 Jan 1818, a sister Hannah baptised 17 Jan 1822, brother john baptised 17 sept 1823 (suggesting first John died), and Henry 25 Nov 1825
