From the 1871 census and the marriage reg her parents would appear to be Thomas b? and Jane Malet b1846. Thomas is down as a clerk on the marriage reg.

Can anyone find the marriage between Thomas Malet and Jane ? and if possible their places of birth and thier parents names.

And you know it's the right one because of the probate notice of Jane Catherine Malet, widow, who dies Sharoe green Hosp Fulwood Lancs 24 Feb 1942,. Probate London 2nd may to Margaret Anne Kitchin widow.


And entry in fam search.org of the same marriage gives ages of bride 19 and groom 20 .both single, and fathers of both bride and groom were named William.
