Great Grandmother Hannah Davies

Hi All,
Looking for any information on Hannah Davies born 1846 Ruthin [lived at Henllan] Denbighshire. I have her on the 1861 Census [25] living with father John and Mother Phebe few other siblings and Evan [her son 7 Months] then no information at all. I have found the remaining links via Evan Davies [1870] although his death is a bad one. [Died of a Blackthorn entering into his eye and ended up in his brain].

Morgan Lived in the same place as Hannah. Marriage. April.May.June. 1872 District. Ruthin Denbigshire

Thanks Bronson211. I also have that and 7 others, problem is I cant find them in the 1881 Census and I havent completed the others as yet. Any help would be great as I have her son as my Grandfather.Originally Posted by Bronson211

Do you have the census number for the above 1861 census I cannot find Hannah on that census, I did find her on the 1851 census age 5 parents John 1820 and Phoebe 1823 plus siblings Jane and Margaret all born Henllan, address Tanybryn, Henllan, Denbigh. If this the right family then Hannah would have been 15 years old in 1861.
How did you get from Evan Davies [1870] to his mother Hannah. Do you have a birth and/or marriage Cert showing mothers /fathers name ? You need to clarify some data for us to enable us to give you some help.

Note: no Hannah
I found Evan b 1871 stated as Nephew to John and Phoebe living at 4, Steeple St, Henllan in the 1881 census. Still no Hannah. So is Evan the son of one of John's brothers or the son of one of John's unmarried sisters?

In 1891 still at the same address is John and Phoebe plus Evan and Cornelius both down as sons.

Thats the family, Evan is the illigitmate son of Hannah, b Ruthin 1841/2. I might of found her in 1861 as a servant. There is a Problem with the 1861 Census in the Denbighshire area - most of them were lost, water /fire damaged I believe. I also havent searched thro the other possible marriages yet or the possibilities that she died.

Son Cornelius.
!871. Welsh Census. John.Phoebe. Hannah Daughter 25yrs.Cornelius Son.11. Evn Son 7 Months.
1881. John.Phoebe. Evan. nephew. Born 1871. 4 Steeple Street.Henllan
1891. John. Phebe. Cornelius. 30. Son. Evan. 20. .4 Steeple Street. Henllan
1901. Evan Davies. 30. Gamekeeper. Wife Margaret Ann 25. Edith Daughter. 4 weeks.
No Hannah after 1871. I looked at the Marriage list again. and Hannah may have married Thomas Swancoat.
But there was an error on the page so could not get into record.
Does any help you solve the mystery ?
