Thread: John Williams

John Williams born c1840 Northop, Wales. He married Elizabeth. (no idea of her surname). They have several children: William, Vincent, Daniel, Emrys, Phoebe, Mary Thomas & Harry. Somewhere along the line they move to Prescot, Liverpool. Daniel born 1873 (Full name Daniel Herbert Williams) marries Alice Dickinson. They have a son, John Alfred Herbert Williams born 1901 (my grandfather). Alice dies(?) and Daniel moves back to N Wales (Rhyl) & marries Myfanwy. JAH trains as a watchmaker/repairer in London, I think. He emigrates to South Africa in the 1920's. Got all the census bits, but trying to fill in the blanks. Can anyone help? Especially with the 1st John?
