Hi Lili, do you know his parents names ? how sure are you he was born in Brymbo Denbighshire? could he be on the 1841 census? had a quick look but there are an awful lot of Edward Hughes so any further info would be very helpful

Searching for Twizell, Brown & Storey from Northumberland. Kelly & Kinsella from Ireland, Parkinson from Lincolnshire. Mellor from Derbyshire and Jackson from Warwickshire.
Sorry but I can't find him on 1841 at all. Lots of Edward Hughes but not him. He and Mary(unless he had a previous wife) had a son Samuel born 1834.
The family are on other censuses. I can't find a marriage to a Mary Parry before 1837 though there is one of Edward hughes to Mary Hughes oct nov Dec 1837 St Asaph Denbighshire ,27,285.
All censuses give Edwards birth as Brymbo denbighshire.
