    Hi RHIANL,

    Welcome to the forum.

Can you tell us what was entered for the occupations of Thomas and Elizabeth's fathers, and the witnesses names?

    Hallo,
That one may not be your Thomas Ford. We don't know for sure yet. I cannot see an Elizabeth Ford of the right age born Battersea. We need someone who has some knowledge of the area. It is not uncommon for folk to give different birth places throughout the censuses.Westminster is one side of the River Thames and Battersea is the other. I have found a Thomas who fits in Wandsworth in 1901 and Sarah somewhere else. But need to confirm it. Now looking for death of Thomas before 1905. There are several possibles. Will look for births.

    Hi,

I'm struggling to find a Thomas Hunt circa 1883, born Battersea in 1911 census, do you have more details please e.g. where they were living, did they have children and if so their names and ages.

    Hi slizzy,
    Hi RHIANL
Battersea. St Peter was in Wandsworth borough.A Frederick Ford(born Lambeth Surrey), a shoemaker, lived in Battersea and was baptising his children there in the 1880's(5 all baptised the same day).
A possible brother for Thomas Ford? so I'm looking for a Thomas Ford born Lambeth.
As slizzy has said... do you have names of children. Names of often a great help in identifying families.
There is a Thomas C Hunt born 1882 Battersea but his father is Thomas( a draper) and mother Caroline.

hi, yes i do have more details, in 1911 they were in wales-crynant, nr neath the children they had are as follows: frederick francis 1907 9 henry st batt
william charles and alice louise 1910 24 wye st batt
    sidney arthur 1912 crynant wales
    hetty janet 1914 crynant wales
    thomas henry 1918 crynant wales
    doris may 1920 crynant wales
    jack rowland 1927 crynant wales
i know elizabeth came back to london (dont know when) as she died in 1969 age 83 upper tooting rd, which was the daughter doris address, doris died in 1992 st georges hosp tooting and alice (one of the twins) died a spinster in 1986 her brother john rowland(as on death cert) reginstered it
jack married in 1961 in wandsworth, address of greyhound lane, now i know hetty and sidney stayed in wales as sid was my grandfather, jack's marriage cert states that his father thomas is deceased at this time and his fathers occupation as coal miner, cannot find a death for thomas eaither.
thomas was alive in 1933 as my grandfather marriage cert states his father (thomas) as a coal miner. thank you all.

think there was also a son thomas nathaniel born 1905, but died.
