Thread: Help finding the marriage index info for Annie Maria Preston and Charles Page

I am trying to find the marriage index info for Annie Maria Page ("Preston" was her surname before she was married) and Charles Page.

Here is the only info I have about them:
At the time that their son Charles Thomas Page was born (1885), Charles Page senior was a carpenter. He later became a ship's cook, but I don't know when. They were living in "Newent, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire" at the time C T Page junior was born.

This is all the info I have. I am desperate to find their marriage info so I can order their certificate. Can anyone help me? I can't seem to find it.

No, Superfuzz. Marriages are indexed with either 2,4,8 and sometimes 12 people to a page, in this case there were four - 2 brides and 2 grooms, the index doesn't tell us which bride married which groom, so Charles married either Annie or Emily.

Oh I see! So how do I put this info you found correctly into the GRO order for the certificate?

I think I may have found Charles in 1911, however he's not a ship's cook, but he could have changed occupation after 1911.
