Thread: Lookup please, nonconformist RG7 records?

Hi All

Does anyone have access to the marriage records from Fleet Prison, 1727?

The marriage I'm looking for is in the Non-Conformist records RG7 series (Clandestine Marriages):

Judith Wimpey to John Godfry, 21 Jan 1727/8 in Fleet Prison.

I'd like to know if there is any detail on the record.

I've had a look at the image of the original page and it reads as follows

John Godfry of Fulham in Middsx Farmer B Judith Wimpey ditto Gm R Bow(According to the transcription R Bow is the place of marriage)

Not very informative but better than nothing I suppose.

Thanks Emeltee. It does help quite a bit, since the Judith I have been looking for was from Fulham, so it might be her.

Is there anything above the 'ditto' that it might refer to? If not I assume it means she was from Fulham too.
