Thread: Charles Thomas Page: Trying to find right birth index info for him

Charles Thomas Page died age 51 on 20th November 1936 at Calabar Hospital (West Africa, he was a sailor). He was British and lived in Liverpool at 11 Mona Street when he wasn't sailing. He was a cook on a ship.

His wife was Ellen Page, and he married her on 3rd June 1925.

I've got his death certificate and marriage certificate, and have made a rough estimate of when he was born from the info his death certificate. So he must have been born in 1885, I think.

But on Ancestry.com, I can find results for a few Charles Thomas Pages born in 1885 around the UK at this time that it could be, I just don't know which one he is and how to narrow it down and select the right one.

Can anyone help?

You say you have the marriage certificate, who is named as his father?

His father's name is the same as his: "Charles Thomas Page". And he was deceased at the time of their marrage.

Any occupation for father? There's a possible, father was a leather bagmaker

Oh on his marriage certificate it says his dad was a "ship's cook".

So, father and son both had same name and same occupation?
