Thread: Cooper Harvey

1881 census shows ancestor Cooper Harvey (Cooper was his christian name, b 1840 in Harrow Weald, Middx) living at Lord Wolverton Cottage, Harrow on the Hill Middx. Have been trying to trace this cottage, without success. Even walked around the Hill. Possibly cottage has been renamed, demolished? Local history society can't help. Would welcome any suggestions please.

My guess is it would have been a cottage on Lord Wolverton's estate, therefore if you first find the manor house you may then find a possible cottage.

A Google search for 'Lord Wolverton Harrow on the Hill' may help you to locate the manor.
