Default Fuller/ Norfolk - suffolk- Essex

    Help
I have my ancestors in Saxlingham Nethergate names Benjamin fuller/ Mary Curtis, married Bramptom Suffolk 24th September1778. Children Curtis 1786-1867,Richard 1788-1847,Ann Maria 1790-/, John 1792-/and Charles1794-1863. What I can't find is birth and death of Benjamin and Mary. I have a Benjamin Fuller born in Saint Leonard Colchester 7 September 1760 which could match to the marrage, but the family have been in Norfolk from this time untill about 1925Please any information woud be good.
    Thanks John

    Hi John,

I've had a very brief look and found this from the 1851 census:

    Name: Mary Fuller
    Age: 103
    Estimated Birth Year: abt 1748
    Relation: Mother-in-Law (widow)
Where born: Swanton Novers, Norfolk, England (handwriting is almost illegible so placename might be wrong)

    Civil parish: Thornage
    County/Island: Norfolk
    Registration district: Erpingham
    Sub-registration district: North Walsham
    Household schedule number: 78
    Piece: 1809
    Folio: 857
    Page Number: 22

She's stated as being a mother-in-law living with Henry and Cecily Cook (50 and 52 years-old respectively). Unlikely to be your Mary Fuller though, as you don't mention her having a daughter called Cecily. According to the census record, this Mary Fuller was 51 when she had Cecily!

Even though it's probably not the right Mary, I thought I'd post the info, as living to 103 must have been virtually unheard of back then!
