ok guys new to all but hope SOMEONE can help! i'm only signed to a*******y.co BUT i'm struggling to find ANY info on my grandad. i have his full name Frederick Albert Edward Ward...or poss..Frederick Edward Albert Ward, dob 8/2/1895 (according to his headstone!) dod 20/11/1977 don't know place of birth. or parents names! but cant seem to match or even NEARLY match any info from...1901/1911 census or births OR Christenings!!! G,Day Tony, Can I ask if you know your Grandmothers Christian and maiden names? If we can find a marriage for your Grandparents it might give us a clue where your Grandfather was born and his parents names.. Their marriage cert will tell you both of your Gt Grandfathers names and their professions..Witnesses can be very important as they could be family members..Where was your Grandfather laid to rest (County)..I found one birth that might fit the bill but the name Albert is not there..Also do you have a copy of your Fathers birth certificate as it would state both your Grandparents names..That way we can establish a marriage..

major update! dicussing subject with wife she pipes up OOOHHH your cousin sent you some info ages ago and i just put it in cupboard! doh!!!! i now know grandad's parents were Albert Edward Ward. dob 1872 mother Matilda Ward. nee Chambers dob 1876. but still can't find birth cert or info!for my grandad!
