Default Need help please in Finding Bert Blows's service records prior to WW1

Pte Bert Blows (4863) (or 9863, Bert's handwriting a wee bit illegible - later I think to have the number of 3592 in the RAMC i think)
Enlisted at Royston, Hertfordshire for the Bedfordshire Regiment on the 1 December 1903
    2nd Battalion Bedfordshire Regmt
Served as Regimental Policeman in the 2nd Batt.
As far as I can Make out, he was transferred to the RAMC on the 21st November 1906
He had served with the Colours (what were these???)

This is all the info I have, would like to know more about Bert's Service, pre world war 1

The regiment between 1903 and 1914 was in Aden, India, Ireland and S. Africa.
The "colours" was the flag!(very important )
There is some stuff on the 2nd batt. mentioned in TNA.... it seems some of it is closed until some long ahead future date.... Maybe if you could visit National Archives at Kew you would be able to get more info.
I cannot fathom why Ancestry only has one small half sheet of paper record on him.
He has no army pension so obviously wasn't hurt.
Are those your medal photos for him on Ancestry?
There is a site blars.adlibsoft.com which has some stuff on the regiment.Actually quite a lot but you need to look for it.x550/3 gives you a bit of history of it and where it was etc.

In first world war it was at Mons, Le Cateau, Marne, Ypres, Suvla, Somme, Palestine and Arras.
Have you looked on A2a site?

    Hi Lola,

Yes That is correct, they are my photos of his medals - He was in the RAMC IN 1914-1918,(in the 10th Stationary Hospital/ 19th Field Ambulance) Would that mean he was at Mons, Marne, Le Cateau, Ypres, Suvla, Somme, Palestine and Arras?, I do have a copy of his WW1 Papers but doesn't have great detail. I think maybe the reason why, Ancestry doesn't have much about him, because they were burnt in WW2.

I haven't looked at a2a site yet I shall do so tomorrow
    Regards

    Liam
