    Default Peacock family research trouble

I'm come across a spot in my research where I can not find the names of my 4th greatgrandpa's parents. I've searched and searched and continued to come up with nothing. His name was George Peacock (born abt 1812 in Yorkshire, died 1892 in Missouri, USA), married Mary Wells, had two children (John and William) then left for America and settled in Illinois where he had my 3rd great grandfather, George Mitchel Peacock.
It seems I can't find anything on him before his marriage other than a letter I found from a cousin of George Mitchel's stating that George was raised by his uncle Johnathan Peacock. This leads me to believe his parents must have died when he was very young or something of that nature.
If anyone can help me, I would be more than grateful!

    1841 England Census
    Name: George Peacock Age: 30
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1811 Gender: Male
    Where born: Yorkshire, England
Civil parish: Ripon Hundred: Ripon County/Island: Yorkshire
    Street Address: Skelton, Ripon
    Occupation: Agr Labourer
    Registration district: Ripon
    Sub-registration district: Ripon
George Peacock 30 Mary Peacock 20
    Class: HO107; Piece 1352; Book: 10/3 Page 1

Not to sure about the ages, mary would have only been 16 when they married. Ages did tend to be rounded up or down in the1841 census. Do you have the marriage cert which should list their ages and fathers names, occ etc

I believe this is the right marriage though I can't figure out how to open it up (sorry, I'm new here). I only know he was born in Yorkshire, I don't know the town

This very well may be them though I believe "Mitchel" came from his mother's side as is grandfather was named Mitchel Wells.
