Thread: Lt Benjamin Clare

Hi all (again!)
I'm still banging my head on this brick wall!
Lt. Benjamin Clare was born in Ireland, Claremount Co Meath. They seem to have had a private chapel,(long since knocked down) so no records remain.
He joined the 60th Rifles in 1814 (I think) and retired on half pay in 1818.
His daughter Georgiana was born in Ireland in 1822.
I have a record for a man of this name in 1800s but can't prove it's my lad.
Any suggestions for where to go now? I'm using Ancestry, but there are very few Irish records.
