I found these Birth regs but no John Samuel

The parents of John Samuel were born as far as I know in Australia or more likely Peter or Benjamin Hanslow born in England. They were sent to Austrakia in 1818 and 1823/24. Both brothers had sons called John.

I found this death noggin28 and wondered if there could possibly be a family connection? Australian death certificates are very informative and they also give siblings names as well as parents names if known..Maybe related to the 1912 death you posted above?

Hi Noggin28, Have you thought about checking all the Hunslow names for the area of GULGONG via your local LDS Centre to see if there could possibly be a connection? I believe a small fee would be involved but it might be worth it in the long run.

Benjamin and Catharine did have a son JOHN in 1829.

John S Hanslow married a Margaret Sproule in 1864

John S Hanslow died 1912 parents listed as Benjamin and Margaret.

Its been suggests he added the name Samuel at some point after his birth. I have also found the death and it states Benjamin Hanslow father Hotel keeper and mother Margaret Richardson. It states age when married 36 years and spouse Maragret Sproule age at death 84, children Peter S Hanslow age 48 living, none deceased.

So it looks like Benjamin and Catherine could be his father and the mother's name Margaret Richardson was listed by mistake, is should have been Catharine Richardson. In view of a lack of a birth cert that states John Samuel Hanslow and am 80% certain I have the right parents.
