Default The missing James Frederick Bolt

I have a stumbling block in the disappearance of James Frederick Bolt. I can see his birth in 1857 [parents Napoleon James and Mary Miller]. I have him on the 1861 census in Camberwell Surrey with his parents and siblings but by 1871 hthe whole family is missing. His family is around again by 1875 as that is when his mother died and father died in 1879. His brother, Elisha Miller Bolt, was my great grandfather and back on the 1881 census and I can track the rest of his siblings but no sign of James Fred. I cannot see a death or a marriage and I can`t see him on any of my Australian indexes. Maybe someone will be able to spot him for me?
    Thanks

Hi - i have had a look at this for you and made a start on the births. I found the census record and it said all but Napolean were born in Lambeth whilst he was born in Greenwich.

    BOLT, Lydia Mary Lambeth London 1854 Apr-May-Jun Q3 1D 359
    BOLT, William James lambeth london 1851 apr-May-Jun Q3 4 287
    BOLT, Mary Matilda lambeth london 1858 jul-Aug-Sep Q3 1d 328
    BOLT, James Frederick Lambeth London 1857 Jan-Feb-Mar Q3 1D 376

Hi-- I found the marriage and the birth of louisa...

    marriage
BOLT, Napoleon James Lambeth London 1850 Jul-Aug-Sep Mary Miller 4 349

    birth
    BOLT, Louisa Elizabeth Lambeth London 1860 Apr-May-Jun Q3 1D 345

Napolean I have had no luck with and Mary - the mother I would not be happy at the moment disclosing as there was a choice of few and none for Lambeth - further looking needed there

Do you think this is Elisha and its interesting he has Miller as a name under the circumstances?

    Birth

    BOLT, Elisha Miller Lambeth London 1862 Oct-Nov-Dec Q3 1D 374

    Marriage

    BOLT, Elisha Miller St. Saviour Southwark London 1888 Oct-Nov-Dec Q3 1D 281

I believe he married either Elizabeth Peabody or Edith Martha Southgate - if he is on the census then it will show one or the other

Sadly it Looks like Elisha died in Camberwell in 1899

Finally in 1911 I did find a James Bolt married to an Ada. He was born in 1857 but it said Clekenwell - so only the certificate will disclose the truth . She was 2 years younger than him and was born in Westminster. They had been married 16 years bit there was no sign of children ?

Do you know if James was in any of the services?

Is it possible hbe migrated somewhere - USA australia ?

Hi everyone. thanks for your help. Napoleon was born in Greenwich Kent. He did marry Mary Miller and I have traced all the children except James Frederick. Elisha was my great grandfather, marrying Edith Martha Southgate. I will try for the marriage cert for the marriage of James Bolt to Ada.
I cannot find James here in Australia.
    MAny thanks
