Searching for Twizell, Brown & Storey from Northumberland. Kelly & Kinsella from Ireland, Parkinson from Lincolnshire. Mellor from Derbyshire and Jackson from Warwickshire.
I can see only one Michael Montague born 1797/1801, he's with a son Hugh aged 15 on the 1841 census. Is this the mIchael your query relates to?
If so, he was born in Ireland.
Hi Pejay all I have at the moment is, the family were in Middlesex circa 1836 and, they also show on 1841 living in City Garden Place, St Luke, Middlesex. He is a bit of a mystery man and, trying to tie up the loose ends prior to 1800.
Hi Slizzy that could explain a lot, as have a lot of Irish stock on my mothers side but, my fathers ? I have Michael on the 1841 census with Frederick (born 10 December 1836 at St Lukes Middlesex ) with his wife Rebecca Elliot....hope this help's further .

acording to that both are born middlesex - as were all children
unforttunately marriage gives no fathers name or occupation

The spelling of surnames wasn't standardised back then and were the scribes interpretation of what he heard, in view of this I believe Welshlady has probably found you the right Michael Montague.

Hi Slizzy and, thanks to you and welshlady....It seems to be the same all through the 1700's to the 1800's (spellings that is) and, really appreciate everyone's help on this one.
