Wondering if there were records for world war 2 reserved occupations interested in
Alexander Auld a train driver ab1913 to 1987 was married twice I believe to Margaret Robertson ab1916 to 1956 think his second wife was Peggy

Interested in any details anyone can find out - not finding scottish ancestry as easy to trace

I think most of the WW2 records at still with the M.O.D. they can be looked at for a price - you have to write to them stating if you are next of kin etc. Yes I agree about Scottish records - they are nearly as bad as Irish recoords

Thanks pejay *) need to sit down and get all the solid evidence and make a push on the scottish side (my wifes) have got the english side (mine) back through all great grandparents but one set to at least 1700's mainly thinks to you guys on hear. Big round of applause
