Thread: my mothers mothers birthday

The birthday book has the information my mothers mothers birthday. ( which is so fustrating as I have only just found it)

What I know is the mother was Agnes Harper was born 17/9/1872. Her married name was Webb but thats another twisted story which AA have tried to help with. Agnes died in 1938.She had a baby Margaret Agnes Webb in Feb 1901 (father listed as William) Agnes had one more child a girl that died early, think her name was Violet (any trace of her also appreciated.)

We have photos of Agnes parents , I have there birth day and date but no years or names. Just my Mothers mother (11 July)and my fathers mother.(Birthday 8 August)
I do know the last name is Harper because the photo is labeled my Grand father Harper.

Would love to be able to name the photos and add the info to the old bithday book.
As a possible red herring an aa member suggests her name could have been alice agnes when we were trying to locate info on the husband.

Can anyone find evidence that there was an Agnes Harper born in 1872 and who her parents were or there was an Agnes Webb who died in wolverhampton in 1938. (so i can order a death cert) Agnes was in a wheel chair in the only photos we have. Unsure why. She stayed her final years in New Cross hospital, Wolverhampton.

Any help most welcome. thankyou for your time. Having lovely photos which were clearly chersihed but not labeled in a meaningful way is sad so I am hopeful for some answers.

Hi of course - did you see the image ? as im sure that said 9 th Aug but eyes arent that good so far thats the nearest apart from Scotland , but will keep looking .

Thanks guys it really is difficult. I think the death is correct as I have a "postcard " with a memorial on it in memory and the date 1938 so I beleive that this must be the starting point. The wolverhampton council said there was not any record of the death which completly through me off the trail but you have found a referance.
The Voilet info does tie in with family records.
S before I order the death cert do death certs in England have parents names on them or as pejay said only the info of the person giving it.
Does anyone know if medical records are available? or are the destroied after a number of year.
