Hi I have for the past few years now, been trying to find my grandfather, his name was Frederick Henry George
we were told he came to the UK during or after WW1, having fought with the Australian army (Machine Gun Corps)
From this we are not sure if he was born in Australia or the UK.
He was supposedlyborn in 1881
He was living with my Gran in Manchester (they are supposed to have married) again I cant find a marriage.
she was Lilian George nee Watt
They had 2 children Helen Elizabeth born 1925 and Douglas born 1927
