I would like help in discovering more about this intriguing lady who is my great granmother.
She appeaes in various guises in the census as follows:
1871
Humm Rachel daughter 9 1862 hants
1891
Andrews Charlotte wife 28 1863 Aldershot
1901
Andrews rachel head widow 38 1863 Charwoman
1911
Andrews Rachel Charlotte lavinia daughter widow 47 1864 Charwoman Hants

She was allegedy the wife of one George Andrews (another mystery) but I cannot find a marriage record or details of her birth (year probably 1863-1864) at Aldershot.miltary connection through her father?
Any assistance appreciated!

very intriguing indeed - I found her on the 1881 census as Rachel C.L Humm age 17, Henrietta Street, at Portsea. This you can find on the LDS 1881 census. The only birth I can find is for a Charlotte Humm registered 1863 Westham June qr 4a 2 this may or may not be her. I cannot find a marriage.

thought maybe Rachel was from a previous marraige but found Sarah's daughters 1871 with James. Do you have the marriage cert as I found this
