Thread: Can't find any birth record for Phoebe Parmenter c.1844

Hi All,

I am attempting to locate the birth record for Phoebe Parmenter, who I have found on the 1881 cenus in the West Ham Union and Poor Law school as a cook.

It labels her place of birth as London, Middlesex and she is noted as aged 37.

I have done extensive searches around 1843/44/45 and cannot find any entry.

Are there any other avenues I can take ?

I found this christening record which very well could be her with a surname misspelling.

1861, yet again indexed with a misspelling, the original isn't easy to read as the enumerator ran out of space and wrote Parmer and continued above with ster, unfortunately Phoebe isn't at home with her mother. RG9; Piece: 1061; Folio: 41; Page: 5;
