Thread: I think this really is a brick wall

I have been trying to find out about a baby born in 1943/4 in Quetta (formerly India , now Pakistan ) or possibly Calcutta, Lucknow or Delhi. I have tried the British library India Office and other forums but can find no records of birth baptism or death. My supposition is that the baby was adopted through a missionary society, probably Church of England, so if there is anybody with access to this type of information I would be very grateful. The baby would have been european, gender unknown.Parents were a soldier and a VAD nurse. I think this really is a brick wall! Thank you
