Hi, I have just rejoined the forum, and have replied to Marie in Kent - I know some Heritages in East Kent; Ben and Peggy Heritage still live on the land that their family has farmed. Ben is my sister's godfather.
My family name is Barton, and I am researching John and Ann Barton, married about 1811.

Stephen Heritage Married Mary Court and had James Heritage and several others he married Jane Harvey, Mary Jane was their daughter.

Ben and Peggy are cousins and I have some been in touch, though not recently hope they are keeping well they used to see my parents a lot when we lived at Stowting I really should see them again. I have a Maude Alberta Barton Married to Henry James Barton in the Alkham area 1912 I believe.
