Our Ancestor Samuel Cole was born in 1841 and records show he had an army career. The 1861 census shows that he was a soldier in the Infirmary Barracks in Glasgow at that time.
He married Emily Lindham and had at least one son George Bickley Cole born in Paisley, Renfrewshire in 1866.
Emily may have been a nickname and baptised as Amelia in 1834 in London and her parents are David and Mary Ann Lindham.
Any help would be grateful.

Hi I have been advised of the baptism and yes it was at th st Sepulchure church, London. We are still unsure if this is the same person but seems it could be. I haven't found Amelia or Emily lindham with Sam or her parents
yet. What I do guess is that she was still unmarried
In 1871 5 years after birth of their son George.
