    Exclamation Richard Williams

    Richard Williams
Please help me knock down a large old brick wall. Richard Williams an agric lab. b. 26.01.1867 Friezley near Cranbrook Kent. Son of Charles & Mary Williams nee Baker and brother of my gt gt grandfather.
In the 1891 census he was married to a Sarah ...... b. c1864 Ticehurst East Sussex and both were living with his parents at Park Cottage Frittenden. By the 1901 census Richard and Sarah have both disappeared off the face of the earth and no trace in 1911 census either. I have tried every combination of names to search those two census but no luck. Have also tried to find their deaths and burials too. My questions are - What was Sarah's maiden name and where did they get married? Did they both die before 1901? If not where are they in the census records for 1901 & 1911 and did they have any children?. I have been searching for them for years so any help would be wonderful.

    Many thanks

    June

Is there any chance he could have emigrated? or even moved to a different county? Did he have any children ? perhaps we can look for them. nAnother thoughtcould the names have been wrongly transcribed?

Emigration and death are strong possibility - as I have looked at every county and possible way of spelling that I can think of. Even transposing and using William Richards. Will have a look
at findmypast and see if I can find any ships passenger records for them. The only census record I have for the both of them together is 1891 and they didn't have any children.
By 1901 Richard's father is in the workhouse and I am pretty sure he would have been cared for by Richard if it had been possible, so death or emigration seems the only answers (for now at least)
Thanks for giving me some ideas and thoughts. June
