Thread: Baptism for Ann Lancashire, where is she?

If anyone can help determine the correct baptism for Ann Buckley bc 1796 Whitefield/Prestwich, Lancs, it would be a great help. Been stuck at this point for years. She married 1819 St Mary the Virgin , Bury, and was a spinster of the parish of Radcliffe.

Note these are the Bishops Transcripts a copy of the original Parish Register which is the source you need to look at.

You need to get a copy of the Marriage licence from Lancashire Record Office this may include the age of the persons together with their father's names! It could indicate that one or both were under age when marrying and needed the consent of their parent!

Thanks very much Elsabels. I went on the Lancs RO site and if I have read it correctly, the copy registers are at the Central library, which is closed for refurbishment until 2013.
