Thread: McNaughts in Paisley, Scotland?

We are looking for McNaughts in Paisley, Scotland. Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

My husband's great grandfather was Alexander McNaught (b. 1857). He was married to Jane/Jennie Reid in 1875. They immigrated to the US in 1885 with their children, John and Jennie. We think that Alexander's parents were John McNaught (b.1814) and Margaret Wylie (b.1815). John and Margaret had five children Alexander, Robert, Margaret, Elizabeth and Andrew. John was a silk weaver. I would like to know about the family left behind in Scotland. All records that I have found trace them to Paisley.
