Hi!
Putting 1750 - 1770 into Family Search (no place name) fetches up a number of Henry Rules including:
1761 - born Gwithian, Cornwall - 5 miles from Lelant - parents John and Catherine
1763 - born Wendron, Cornwall - 12 miles from Lelant - parents Johnson and Elizabeth
Rubina
Thanks Rubina Think its possibly the Gwithian one , closer to Lelant than the Wendron one
HELLO. I LOOKED ON BOTH THE PALLOT'S MARRIAGE RECORDS. NO HENRY RULE PLUS NO ANN HOSKINGS.
I checked the Birth as well no Henry Rule who may have been born about 1755 - 1774 .Cornwall records None.
I went onto 1841 Census no Henry Rule. Then I tried Family Search. Found a Henry Rule. and Ann Hoskings Married 4 May 1788. Uny-Leland Cornwall
Batch No. 103854. Film No. 1595781. Ref No. Item 14. No Image on line. I thought it may have had parents name listed.
Sorry I could not help.
Thanks for looking Bronson
More possibles
1768 Camborne, father Johnson Rule
1771 Marazion, parents Henry and Elizabeth
1768 Breage, parents Thomas and Marjery
The parish record entry for Henry and Ann's marriage has: Groom Residence sojourner (so he was not from Lelant)
Thankyou for searching Slizzy
Hazelnut,
Have you cross checked the Henry Rule's baptised say.........1758 - 1773 against marriages and deaths? I had a quick search on the Cornwall opc site and the one born Wendron 1763 doesn't marry there within the time frame 1780 - 1800; may be he is your man? All the others appear to be accounted for. Anyway take a look for yourself as I did only quick check.
I must say what a fantastic site the Cornwall OPC is! A true credit to the transcribers' there. Wish we had a similar comprehensive site for Yorkshire.
