Thread: Almshouses

My gr grandmother Ruth Launchbury lived in Burford Oxon, died 1937, is believed to have lived in an Almshouse when elderly. Is it possible to find a list of tenants of almhouses, if so where do I look? Have tried but got nowhere. Any suggestions most welcome. BEB
