in 1841 it states lawrence levy as this name, or lawrence day

he is living with his family all known as day

i think it is simply a case of mistrancription ( someone has submitted a correction to levy saying they are a distant relative)

    Name:Lawrence Day

when you look at the original . street addresss is norfolk street and he is actually in a household with

    janeete aged 5
    henry aged 3
    rebecca aged 1

they are all listed singly in transcription. also they are at top of the page and if you look back to bottom of previous page there is also

lawrence levy aged 35 wine merchant ( trancription says lioy for them all)
    rebecca levy aged 35
    henry levy 15
    edward levy 14

the levy is written in such a way that you could think day if you didnt know better
hope that makes sense to you - there are two henrys??

    TOP OF FIRST PAGE
    F: rebecca aged 1
    M: henry aged 3
    M: lawrence aged 5
    F: Janette aged 6

    SECOND PAGE SAME FAMILY

    M: Edward aged 14
    M: Henry aged 15
    Wife Rebecca aged 35
Head Lawrence LEVY aged 35 a wine merchant

when you turn on the second page were the parents are it is written LEVY the registrar had not written the name properly on Lawrence born 1836 on the census thats why it looks like DAY
