Harriett Parsons, (Help!)

HI I wonder if anyone can help with this one,
Harriett Parsons 1821, supposed to be Cowbridge, Glamorgan. married,
Thomas Howell in 1840 ,Bristol or Bath (not sure of Thomas DOB, had two daughters as far as we know Ellen Emma Howell 1841 and Elizabeth Howell, well we definitely know of Ellen Emma because she went on to marry our Gr.Gr Grandad Thomas Hiller,and obviously became our Gr,Gr Grandma,
But her mother and father are a pain,I have searched for them and found different places /birthdates and yet the same two people, in 1871 Harriet is living with Ellen and Thomas, with the other daughter Elizabeth, 16yrs, then in 1871 she is living with Elizabeth and her family, the name of Chorlton, I want to find out where she is in 1851 and 1861 and when Thomas Howell went off the scene and where Ellen was in 1851, I did find a Ellen Hales in 1851 living in this house age 12 with other children named Brown, but no parents.I thought she was the right one because her birth place was Bath Somerset,and she was a visitor, can anyone help Please,,

Hello,

I think this is Harriet in 1851. (It definately says Glamorgan, not Gloucestershire!). She is listed as married and a seamstress. No sign of Thomas. I've had no luck with the 1861 census, but will keep looking!

1851 census as above, but where were Thomas & Ellen

Ellen was born Bath and can be found on the 1861 census in Bristol, she married Thomas HILLIER June 1864 Bristol 6a 153

Harriett was widowed by 1871

The family seemed to be living in the Bristol area
