Thread: Cairns Family UK

Hi,My name is Andrew Mark Cairns and I am stuck on trying to trace my Grandfather's Mother,My Grandfather was called James Cairns(b:Feb1922) who I know to have had 1 brother called Douglas or maybe doug or dougie,And they supposedly had a sister also.My G-Grandfather James was born abt 1900 I believe in Glasgow,I have been told that he served some time with The Black Watch and also in the T.A,He had 2 Brothers,John and Alexander and a Sister called either Lizzie or Elizabeth.As things go I am stuck fast from what seems to be all angles on this part of my tree and if anyone could give me any help at all with this matter I would be very thankful.
