Primeiron Frank harris born in Bloomsbury UK on 26th November 1820. Father John Harris. Mother Rebecca Harris (maiden name unknown). This information from Baptism and christening record that took place at St Marlybone in Westminster. No further information found on parents. Not even a marriage record.
Primeiron travelled to Australiain about 1825/27 with his Uncle William Harris and family. This suggests his parents had either died or he was born out of wedlock and taken in by his Uncle? No death records have been found for either parents. Family folklore says that Primeiron hated his Uncle and ran away in his teens and changed his surname from Harris to Grant. He died in New South Wales, Australia in 1916 aged 96 years. His Death certificate and marriage certificate offer no clues to his parents. This search has become frustrating. Hope someone can help.
