    Hi Elsabels;
    I see by your post above that you reference the Stonepics Database. BRN06 is the Anglican Cemetery in Burin. There are also BRENTONs buried in the new cemetery at Hodder's Point, Burin. Here is a link to the cemetery on the Newfoundland Grandbanks site.

    Thomas Brenton of Bulls Cove was the brother of my grandfather. What type of info do you need?

    Hello Walters73, and welcome to Ancestryaid.....

    A result

    Well you have left me speechless ( I donot doubt there will be some mutterings by members when they read that!) this morning, fantatsic, started my day off really well, thank you, and surferneil will be 'overthemoon'

    The research I have been doing is with others, tracing next of kin of the crew of the MV Arthur E CORWIN, which was attacked and sunk with the loss of the crew in February 1941, of which sadly your gt Uncle was one of the members.

    I must admit that I had come to a full stop and had contacted 2 Canadian members on theis forum for advice on where to look next, and as several members knew I had taken a couple of days break befoe I resumed the search, so your contact is very timely.

    I will e mail you later with the information I had managed to find about the Thomas BRENTON and your family.
