can anyone read the last name of Hannah on these banns please
bann no 18 --- Aug 19 1840 Norfolk Ludham , tried to copy and paste - it wouldnt , marriage image not their Aug missing . [ Hannah ? of the parish Wingfield Suffolk and a James Hunn ? ]

i can see her in all the census. have you traced the other visitors to see how they are related and give any clues. eg laura scrivener niece

Hi Welshlady , thanks for looking again - the information you added i have i tracked Laura back to Ipswich - thing thats bugging me is James marriage never been able to find it until i saw this one at Ludham [ well banns ] was hoping i wouldnt have to send for cert. spent too much already on them lol will try again maybe Laura ect as you said .
Chris I have looked at it and it appears to me the first letter of the surname is written in a very similar way as the first initial of the christian name. Hannah Ha or ulne. Could be Hulne or Halne or Holne or even a badly written Holme but I can't see a bar across the H but he does write them very low down and it could be on the line. Does that make sense. Either that or the first initial of the surname is N. Could be Nalne.
Can I add my twopenorth, It looks like Hannah Walne, the first letter appears the same as the first letter of Wingfield.

Thank-you all so much . Does look like mistranscribed Jean - what doesnt help is banns in Ludham Norfolk marriage in Hoxne Suffolk . Im not sure how to go about this - have tried niece found parents Charles & Charlotte but still nothing yet connect as niece .
